The Digital Chief Podcast

Conversations with the people leading digital change, recorded with the working detail left in — including the parts that did not go to plan.

Most industry podcasts are a polite tour of someone’s success story. This one is built around the questions practitioners actually ask each other privately: what did it cost, what broke, and what would you do differently.

The format

01
Specific
One decision, taken apart
A guest walks through a single real decision — a migration, a restructure, a measurement change — rather than giving a career overview.
02
Disclosed
Interests stated up front
Vendor relationships, advisory roles and shareholdings relevant to the discussion are disclosed at the top of the episode, not left for listeners to discover.
03
Checked
Claims verified before broadcast
Factual claims made on air are checked against primary sources where we can, and corrected in the episode notes where we cannot.

Sponsorship

Where an episode is sponsored, it is stated in the episode itself and in the notes. Sponsors do not choose guests, see questions in advance, or review the recording. The rules are the same as everywhere else on the site and are published in the advertising and sponsorship policy.

Coming on the show

We book guests from the Collective and from the desks’ own reporting. If you have run something worth taking apart in public, get in touch through the contact form. We do not accept paid guest placements.
