Research

Our own fieldwork, published with the method, the sample and the questions attached — so you can judge the findings rather than take them on trust.

Research reports are the most abused format in this industry. They are usually commissioned to produce a number a vendor already wanted, and the method is buried or missing. Ours are run the other way round.

What we commit to on every report

01
Method
The full method ships with the findings
Sample size and composition, how respondents were recruited, fieldwork dates, and the questionnaire as it was actually put to people.
02
Funding
Who paid, stated on the report
If a report is sponsored, the sponsor is named on it. Sponsors see the findings when everyone else does and have no say over the questions or the conclusions.
03
Limits
What the data cannot tell you
Every report carries a plain statement of what it does not support, so the numbers are harder to misquote later.

Access

Reports are free to read. Where a report requires an email address, that is covered by our newsletter and email policy — a download does not put you into a sales sequence, and it does not hand your details to a sponsor.

Before the first issue

Our launch survey of senior digital leaders opens for fieldwork ahead of the first issue on Monday 19 October 2026. No findings are published here until that fieldwork has actually been done.
