The terms governing access to The Digital Chief website and its content.

Where users submit comments, pitches or other material, they confirm they have the rights needed to submit it. Separate contributor terms govern commissioned and published contributor work.

The site links to third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, terms or content.
8. Affiliate links and advertising
Some links may generate commission and some content or placements may be paid. Commercial relationships are disclosed under our Advertising, Sponsorship and Affiliate Policy and do not guarantee a positive editorial verdict.

We may change, suspend or withdraw site features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to applicable law, the service is provided on an informational basis and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted.

12. Community and user-generated content
Where community features are available, participation is subject to these Terms and the Community Participation, Moderation and UGC Policy. You are responsible for material you submit and must have the right to share it. Do not post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, misleading, confidential, privacy-invasive, infringing, malicious or spam content, and do not use the community for unsolicited prospecting or commercial harvesting.
You retain ownership of your original user-generated content. By submitting content to the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, promote and preserve the service, subject to your applicable privacy and visibility settings and any separately agreed editorial attribution terms. We do not acquire ownership of your underlying intellectual property by virtue of this operational licence.
We may reject, restrict, de-index, edit for technical presentation, lock or remove community content, and may restrict or close accounts, where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, community rules, safety, legal obligations or platform integrity. Community views are those of the contributing users and are not automatically endorsed by The Digital Chief. Editorial reuse of a contribution outside its original community context follows the attribution and editorial-governance controls applicable to the relevant use.
